The second-year blueberries are growing well. I'm so glad. I'm so relieved.

Swanee, one of the two blueberries that joined later among the four. Quite lively and healthy. Essel, who joined at the same time as Swanee in late June. I adjusted the soil acidity with ammonium sulfate and made sure it gets the same amount of sunlight as Swanee, but it still doesn’t seem very healthy. I wonder why… For now, I’m keeping an eye on it.

I checked the soil of my four blueberry plants with an acidity meter and found that the pH was around 6. It's within the safe range, but I think it would be better for the blueberries if it was a little more acidic, so I added some ammonium sulfate as fertilizer. I hope the pH goes down ☺️.

At first, I was worried that the leaves on Swanny and Essel, who are in their first year, wouldn't grow much. I'm so glad they're growing well! The hot weather is still continuing ☺️.

This summer’s strong sun helped our two-year-old Homebell and Woodard grow so well. Woodard struggled with illness early on, but it recovered and thrived. I’m so glad 😊. It’s amazing how strong life can be.

I also grow blueberries on my balcony as a hobby. I have two plants in their first year and two in their second year. I hope it will bear fruit next year. I uploaded some photos to Instagram!!
