[What You’ll Learn in This Article]

  • Why I focus on international clients

  • Why I work in IT and web development

  • My core values: diversity and harmony

  • The experiences that shaped who I am

Conclusion: Using English and IT, Bridging Diversity and Harmony

I believe that both diversity and harmony are essential.

That’s why I want to support international clients doing business in Japanthrough IT and web development and more.

This is not just a business decision—it’s something that naturally comes from my life experiences.

Why I Focus on International Clients

— Because I Was Once “a Foreigner” Myself

An illustration expressing cooperation with Britain.

I lived in the UK from age 7 to 14.

At that time, diversity was simply a given.

  • Different races: White, Black, Asian

  • Different religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and more

In that environment, I was “a foreigner”—a Japanese person living abroad.

I attended local schools, made friends from different backgrounds, and traveled across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

From these experiences, I strongly learned:

👉 It is natural that people are different👉 And I should be grateful for the environment I was given

These beliefs still form the core of who I am today.

The Sense of Discomfort I Felt in Japan

At 14, I returned to Japan and entered a public junior high school.

What I felt there was very different from the UK:

👉 A strong emphasis on conformity👉 “Being the same” was valued

Through certain experiences, I came to feel:

👉 “There is strong social pressure to conform in Japan”

At the time, I couldn’t fully explain it,but I kept questioning why differences were not easily accepted.

Learning Harmony to Live in Japan

An illustration expressing Japan, the process of creating value from scratch, and the spirit of judo.

During high school and university,I realized I needed to understand Japanese society better.

I began to value harmony and cooperation as well.

Through judo, I learned:

  • Discipline

  • Focus

  • Commitment

I came to understand that👉 diversity alone is not enough—harmony also matters.

Challenges and Frustrations in the Financial Industry

During the job-hunting ice age, after graduating, I joined a financial institution.

At that time, my goal was:

👉 To grow in English, accounting, and IT in a balanced way

However, reality was different:

  • Organization over individuality

  • Conformity over growth

  • Efforts not always fairly recognized

This created a strong sense of frustration.

Why I Continued Learning Anyway

Even so, I thought:

👉 “Even if no one recognizes it, I want to grow.”

So I continued studying and achieved:

  • TOEIC score over 900

  • Bookkeeping Level 2

  • International accounting qualification (BATIC)

I also challenged the USCPA as the summit of my studies integrating English, accounting, and IT but eventually stoppedto balance family responsibilities.

From this, I learned:

👉 Giving something up can also open the next door in life.

Discovering IT and My First “0 to 1” Experience

42 years old, turning point came through IT.

Encouraged by my cousin, I started learning Excel VBAand discovered the joy of creating something myself.

Then, I was given a challenge at work:

👉 To rebuild a broken Excel system from scratch

After three months of struggling trial and error, I completed it.

For the first time, I truly felt:

👉 “I created value from zero.”

20 years has already passed from my joining the financial institution.

But for the first time, I felt recognized for my work.

What I Do Now

Based on these experiences, I now provide services in:

  • Web development (specialized in Wix Studio)

  • SEO / AIO optimization

  • AI tool development

  • Excel VBA solutions

Why International Clients (Summary)

The reason is very clear to me:

  • I have lived as a foreigner

  • I understand the value of diversity

  • I understand the challenges of Japanese society

That’s why I want to support:

👉 People from abroad who are building something in Japan

Of course, I also welcome Japanese clients.
