🧱"Enjoying" and "Creating"

LEGO is more than just a toy to me.

I remember being taken to LEGOLAND Billund in Denmark by my parents when I was little. I have fond memories of playing there with my younger brother.

LEGO is filled with the "free and fun time" of childhood.

Time passed, and I became a parent myself, playing with LEGOs with my son. I still remember the moment he saw the Pikachu I made and said, "Wow!" when he saw it.

Our visit to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo is also one of my cherished memories.

LEGO is primarily a toy for children. That's why I feel that it naturally embodies "kindness" and "free thinking."

Actually, my reason for starting Instagram was also LEGO. I was posting my creations with my son.

I was creating my own intricate works, but it was actually my son's free-spirited and original creations that received the most "likes" from LEGO fans overseas.

It was an idea I, as an adult, would never have thought of. My son seemed very happy with the freedom it offered. I'm still in touch with the overseas LEGO fans who followed me back then.

Recently, I had the opportunity to watch a performance on television by HIMARI, a violinist who has gained worldwide attention at the young age of 14.

I usually listen to Japanese and international pop and rock music, and only occasionally listen to classical music. Even so, I was deeply impressed by HIMARI's performance.

While many musicians "put their feelings into the music" when they play, I felt that HIMARI was "making music out of her feelings themselves."

The feeling of "I love music" came through, along with the atmosphere, even through the television screen.

I applied that same feeling to my son's LEGO creations.

It wasn't that the children's work was popular because it was fun, something they loved, and something they put their heart and soul into, and I think those feelings resonated with the viewers through the work.

Feelings are conveyed to others. And sometimes, they can move people.

My son has taught me so much about the importance of "creating with enjoyment."

I believe that IT, web, and AI technologies will continue to evolve. However,

"I create because I love it."

I want to continue to cherish that feeling, and it will never change.

I want to continue building on my work and hobbies little by little, while enjoying the process.
